Dave's Hot Chicken started in 2017 when three childhood friends pooled $900 to open a pop-up in an East Hollywood parking lot. All they had was a portable fryer, folding tables, and a simple menu.

The concept gained traction quickly through Instagram, word-of-mouth, and a strong review from EATER LA. Before long, lines were forming around the block, leading them to open their first brick-and-mortar location in 2018.

Since then, the focus has remained the same: serve high-quality hot chicken with consistent flavor and execution that keeps people coming back. From that first location to now 400+ locations, the mission has stayed consistent - to blow every guest's mind with the best hot chicken in the world.
